Galloway Police Apprehend Suspect in Last Weekend's Stabbing
J.E. "Johnny" Lozano-Vulgarin was found in Egg Harbor Township with self-inflicted stab wounds.
Galloway Township Police have apprehended the Brooklyn man suspected of stabbing a woman in Galloway over the weekend.
J.E. “Johnny” Lozano-Vulgarin, 24, of Brooklyn, NY, was found in Egg Harbor Township on July 22, as was the vehicle involved in the incident, a Ford Escape, according to Galloway Police. He was found off Westcoat Road and was suffering from what police believed to be self-inflicted stab wounds. He was taken to an area hospital, but police didn't identify which one for security purposes.
On Thursday, July 26, police charged Lozano-Vulgarin with attempted murder in relation to the stabbing. His bail was set at $200,000, and he will be transported to the Atlantic County Justice Facility upon his release from the hospital.

He had previously been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose after he allegedly stabbed a 22-year-old woman from Massachusetts seven times. Galloway Police found the woman when they responded to a call at the Travel Lodge on Route 30 at 9:20 Saturday morning, July 21.
