Galloway Police arrest 3 on weapons charges
Canizzaro and Velez also charged with weapon charges
Three men were arrested Friday night on drug and weapon charges, Galloway Police announced Saturday afternoon, Oct. 13.
Galloway Township Police arrested Anthony Canizzaro, 30, and Nichole Fichetola, 30 both of Galloway, and Luis Velez, 39, of Vineland when officers responded to 1000 block of West White Horse Pike for threats involving a gun, police said.
Police reported that the suspect vehicle fled the scene but was located by Officer Dan Weigle on Morton Ave.

K-9 Officer Kevin Welsh and Officer Gary Brenner conducted a high risk motor vehicle stop at that location. A loaded 25 caliber handgun was located in the vehicle, police said.
Canizzaro, Fichetola and Velez were each charged with possession of a handgun, possession of hollow-point ammunition, possession of methamphetamine, possession of CDS paraphernalia.

Canizzaro and Velez were additionally charged with possession of a weapon by certain persons not to have weapons.
Canizzaro and Velez were held on $150,000 bail and Fichetola is held on $50,000 bail. All were transported to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
The case is currently being investigated by Det Ryan Goehringer and additional charges may be pending.
