Galloway Police Blotter: Aug. 6 - 12
Galloway Police Department releases its activity report for the week.
Information for the Galloway Township Police Blotter for the dates Aug. 6-12, 2012 has been supplied by local law enforcement agencies. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
The responded to 864 calls for service. Of those calls, 87 were for medical emergencies, 22 were motor vehicle accidents, 22 were for domestic violence and 17 were fire calls. There were 25 arrests made, including two DWIs, and 92 tickets were issued.
*Three cars were burglarized. Two on Aug. 7 on Iroquis Drive and Holly Brook Drive and the third on Aug. 9 on New Leaf Court.

*Edward P. Kramer, Jr., 21, of Galloway was arrested on Aug. 9 by Patrolman Dan Weigle for aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon. He was lodged in the Atlantic County Juvenile Facility on $50,000 full bail.
*Bryan M. Gillis, 24, of Galloway was arrested on Aug. 9 by Patrolman Daniel Choe for possession of hypodermic needles. He was released on a summons.

*Charles E. Blalack, III, 28, of Egg Harbor City was arrested on Aug. 10 by Detective Bryan Casey for possession of controlled dangerous substance, possession of CDS paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles. In the same incident, Kevin W. Dean, 27, of Galloway was arrested for possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. They were released on summonses.
*Alyssa L. Smierciak, 18, of Gloucester City was arrested by Detective Bryan Casey on Aug. 11 for engaging in prostitution. She was released on a summons.
*Edwin Miranda, 28, of Egg Harbor City, and Michael A. Zegarra, 29, of Galloway were arrested by Patrolman Robert Bauer on Aug. 11 for possession of CDS. Miranda was also charged with possession of CDS paraphernalia. There were released on summonses.
*Danny H. Alcantara, 46, of Deltona, Florida, was arrested on Aug. 12 by Patrolman Ronald Gorneau for DWI. He was released on a summons.
*Eriksen E. Alarcon-River, 22, of Glen Burnie, Maryland was arrested on Aug. 12 by Patrolman Ronald Gorneau for DWI. He was released on a summons.
