Galloway Police Blotter: Dec. 24-31, 2012

Information for the Galloway Township Police Blotter for the dates Dec. 24-31, 2012 was posted on the police department's website. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

The Galloway Township Police Department responded to 853 calls for service. Officers made 31 arrests and issued 85 traffic summonses, including four charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 24 motor vehicle accidents, 22 domestic complaints, 38 medical assists and seven fire calls.

Burglaries were reported to buildings Dec. 24 on E. Mourning Dove Way; Dec. 25 on S. Canary Way; Dec. 26 on Old New York Road;  Dec. 27 in the 500 block of Tilton Road; and Dec. 30 on Federal Court.

Vehicle burglaries were reported Dec. 24 on Terry Lane and Dec. 26 on Woodhaven Avenue.

* Tammy Valazquez, 53, of Egg Harbor Township, was arrested on Dec. 24 by Officer Christian Magazzu and charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop. She was released on a summons.

* Samuel Fairweather, 28, of Galloway, was arrested on Dec. 25 by Officer Stephen Vernon and charged with driving while intoxicated following a single-car motor vehicle accident. He was released on a summons.

* Andre R. Byrdsong Jr., 23, of Mt. Holly, was arrested on Dec. 27 by Officer Ron Gorneau and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams.

* Neftali Beltran, 34, of Burlington, was arrested on Dec. 27 by Officer Vincent Ceci and charged with burglary and possession of burglary tools. He was released on a summons.

* Daniel Camp, 19, of Galloway, was arrested on Dec. 27 by Officer Gary Brenner and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance following a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

* Joshua Flores, 25, of Jersey City, was arrested on Dec. 27 by Officer Patrick Neal and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

* Deborah Iwanski, 47, of Galloway, was arrested on Dec. 28 by Officer William Kline and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of a hypodermic needle following a motor vehicle stop. She was released on a summons.

* Juan Higgins, 34, of Atlantic City, was arrested on Dec. 28 by Officer Przemyslaw Ryba and charged with hindering apprehension.

* Madeline Ericson, 31, of Buena, was arrested on Dec. 29 by Officer Ron Gorneau and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop. She was released on a summons.

* Rodger Alvarez, 33, of New York, was arrested on Dec. 30 by K-9 Officer Scott Winneberger and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams following a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

* Kathleen Cavileer, 55, of Galloway, was arrested on Dec. 31 by Officer Daniel Choe and charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle accident. She was released on a summons.

* Maria Rivera, 45, of Galloway, was arrested on Dec. 31 by Officer Ron Gorneau and charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop. She was released on a summons.
