Galloway Police Blotter: Nov. 19-25, 2012

Information for the Galloway Township Police Blotter for the dates Nov. 19-25, 2012 has been supplied by local law enforcement agencies. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

The Galloway Township Police Department responded to 717 calls for service. Of those calls, 30 were Emergency Medical Calls, seven were Fire Calls, 11 were Domestic Violence Calls, and 27 were Motor Vehicle Accidents. There were 17 total arrests made, including two DWI and 83 tickets were issued.

* Buildings were burglarized on Nov. 21 on South Berlin Avenue; and on Nov. 22 on South Sixth Avenue, Ivystone Court, South Wood Lane, and Cypress Point Drive.

* Vehicles were burglarized on Nov. 19 on East White Horse Pike; Nov. 21 on South Fir Avenue; Nov. 22 on Arbutus Avenue; and Nov. 25 on East Timber Lane.

* Stanley R. Kozlowski, 25, of Port Republic, was arrested by K-9 Ofc. Scott Winneberger on Nov. 19 for Possession of CDS (Marijuana under 50 grams), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and DWI during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

* Marzavier L. Poteat, 24, of Hamilton Township, was arrested by K-9 Ofc. Scott Winneberger on Nov. 23 for Possession of CDS (Marijuana under 50 grams) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

* Mahavirku G. Mehta, 31, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Jacqueline Crocker on Nov. 23 for Possession of CDS (Marijuana under 50 grams) during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

* James J. Mazzeo, 32, of Myrtle Beach, SC was arrested by K-9 Cpl. Mark D’Esposito on Nov. 24 for DWI. He was released on a summons.

* Jabril Z. Harper, 18, of Atlantic City, was arrested by Ptl. Steve Garrison on Nov. 25 for Hindering Apprehension during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.
