Galloway Police Blotter: Sept. 24-30

Information for the Galloway Township Police Blotter for the dates Sept. 24-30, 2012 has been supplied by local law enforcement agencies. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

The Galloway Township Police Department responded to 811 calls for service. Of those calls, 88 were Emergency Medical Calls, 11 were Fire Calls, 10 were Domestic Violence Calls, and 15 were Motor Vehicle Accidents. There were 38 total arrests made, including two DWI and 70 tickets were issued.

* Businesses were burglarized on Sept. 25 on Donna Drive; on Sept. 27 on East Jimmie Leeds Road; and on Sept. 28 on Aloe Street.

* Ariel R. Leitz, 22, Galloway, was arrested by K-9 Officer Scott Winneberger on Sept. 24 for possession of CDS. She was released on a summons.

* Kevin T. Wright, 20, of Hamilton Township, was arrested by Ptl. Justin Butler on Sept. 26 for hindering apprehension. He was released on a summons.

* Steven Schmidt, 20, of Somers Point, was arrested by Det. Bryan Casey on Sept. 26 on 10 counts of burglary to a motor vehicle and theft in 10 different incidences which occurred in April, August and September. He was released on summonses.  

* Keane E. Blann, 41, of Galloway was arrested by Ptl. Kerry Baerman on Sept. 27 on two counts of possession of CDS, possession of CDS paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles. He was released on a summons.

* David L. Hood, 41, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Scott Winneberger on Sept. 27  for DWI. He was released on a summons.

* Kunal Ratwani, 22, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Jason Kiamos on Sept. 27 for possession of CDS. He was released on summons.

* Tichana A. Holloway, 19, of Pleasantville, was arrested by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau on Sept. 27 for theft, theft of a credit card and fraudulent use of a credit card. She was released on a summons.  

* Ronald Cofield, 21, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Jason Kiamos on Sept. 28 for possession of CDS. He was released on a summons.

* George E. Champion, Jr., 52, was arrested by Ptl. John Mooney on Sept. 30 for DWI. He was released on a summons.

* A 17-year-old Galloway boy was charged by Pt. Kerry Baerman on Sept. 26 with obstruction. He was released on a summons.

* A 16-year-old Galloway boy was charged  by Det. Bryan Casey on Sept. 27 for possession of CDS and possession of CDS with intent to distribute. He was released on a summons.
