Galloway Woman Charged With Careless Driving Following Early Morning Accident

The accident was at the intersection of Route 30 and Bremen Avenue.

A Galloway woman was charged with careless driving following an early morning accident that sent two people to the hospital, announced Thursday afternoon, July 19.

Lisabeth Rich, 60, was making a left turn onto Bremen Avenue while driving eastbound on the White Horse Pike in her 2008 Toyota Prius at 8:40 a.m. Thursday morning when she was hit by a 2004 Hyundai Sonata driven by Briana Heist, 19, of Egg Harbor City, Galloway Police said.

Galloway Ambulance Squad and AtlantiCare Medics transported both drivers to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, police said. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, according to police.
