Man Arrested in Hamilton Township, Charged With AC Murder

The charges made by the Prosecutor's Office are merely an accusation and not proof of guilt. The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

An Atlantic City man was arrested in Hamilton Township at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Sunday and charged with the murder of James Jordan, 25, of Atlantic City, according to a press release from the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.

Keshaun Earley, 26, of Atlantic City was arrested on Angessa Court in Hamilton Township, the release said.

The shooting allegedly occurred at 1 p.m. on Sunday on the 1200 block of Absecon Boulevard in Atlantic City, where Jordan was shot once before running to the 1300 block of Magellan Avenue near Carver Hall, where he collapsed and subsequently died, the release said.

Earley is being charged with first-degree murder and weapons offenses. He was lodged at the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $1,000,000 cash bail and was scheduled to make his first court appearance on Monday at 1:30 p.m.
