One Dead Following Accident in Galloway Friday Night
A two-car crash Friday night on Route 30 and Bremen Avenue resulted in one death.
One person is dead following a two-car accident on Route 30 and Bremen Avenue Friday night, according to Galloway Township Police.
A two-car crash injured the driver of one vehicle and the passenger of the second vehicle.
Both were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Division, where the passenger succumbed to her injuries.
The identity of the victim was withheld pending notification of the victim's family.
The crash is under investigation by Galloway Police and the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
Galloway Police were assisted by Egg Harbor City Police. Also responding were Galloway and Atlanticare EMS, South Egg Harbor Fire Company, and Atlantic City Electric.
Traffic was diverted for over an hour while the scene was cleared and damaged electrical equipment was repaired.
