The northbound entrance to the Garden State Parkway off Route 30 was closed and two lights were disabled on Route 30 after a yellow pickup truck hit a pole Tuesday afternoon, March 12, according to a Galloway Police officer on the scene.
Traffic lights at Damson Avenue and Chris Gaupp Drive were disabled for just over an hour, according to police.
The pickup truck hit a pole connected to high tension wires, an officer on the scene said. The pole was broken.
Atlantic City Electric, Galloway Police and state police officials responded to the scene.
The cause of the accident wasn't immediately clear.
