Pleasantville Man Discovered Dead in Parking Lot Behind Bar
The body of Chikki Smith was discovered around midnight Monday night.
Authorities have released the identity of a Pleasantville man discovered murdered behind a local bar Monday night, Dec. 3.
Chikki Smith, 33, of Pleasantville, was discovered dead in a parking lot behind Sam's Rialto Bar and Grill by Pleasantville Police just before midnight Monday night, acting Atlantic County Prosecutor James P. McClain said Tuesday morning, Dec. 4. He sustained several gunshot wounds, McClain said.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit also responded to the scene, McClain said. According to McClain, next of kin has already been notified.

No arrests have been made, McClain said.
