Police Blotter Highlighted By Series of Juvenile Incidents

Information for the Galloway Township Police Blotter for the dates Nov. 28-Dec. 4, 2011 has been supplied by local law enforcement agencies. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
The Galloway Township Police Department responded to 849 calls for service. Of those calls, 63 were Emergency Medical Calls, nine were Fire Calls, 15 were Domestic Violence Calls, and 19 were Motor Vehicle Accidents. There were 39 total arrests made, including two DWI arrests, and 39 tickets were issued.
* Daniel R. Whittaker, 56, of Galloway, was arrested by Pt. Matthew Worth on Nov. 28 for resisting arrest and assaulting a law enforcement officer. He was released on a summons.

* Dana A. Spence, 51, of Dorchester, MA, was arrested by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau on Nov. 29 for DWI. He was released on a summons.
* Angela M. Sgavicchio, 26, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Daniel Choe on Nov. 29 for DWI and on a fugitive warrant from PA. She was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.

* Michael D. Puleo, 23, of Southampton, was arrested by Ptl. William Schroer on Nov. 30 for DWI. He was released on a summons.
* Jessica A. McGovern, 32, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Bryan Casey on Dec. 1 for two counts of credit card theft. She was released on a summons.
* A 15-year-old Galloway boy was charged by Ptl. Daniel Choe for burglary and theft on Nov. 28. He was released on a summons.
* A 15-year-old Galloway boy was charged by Ptl. Bryan Casey on Dec. 1 with conspiracy to commit credit card fraud. He was released on a summons.
* A 16-year-old Galloway boy was charged with theft by Sgt. Joseph Picardi on Dec. 1. He was released on a summons.
* A 16-year-old Galloway boy was charged by pt. John Mooney on Dec. 1 for possession of CDS. He was released on a summons.
* A 17-year-old Galloway boy was charged by Ptl. Hiram Melendez on Dec. 3 with possession of CDS. He was released on a summons.
* A 16-year-old Galloway boy was charged by Ptl. Steven Garrison on Dec. 3 with underage consumption of alcohol. In the same incident, a 17-year-old Galloway boy was arrested by Ptl. Hiram Melendez for possession of CDS. They were released on summonses.
