Police Blotter Includes An Arrest Made in a 2010 Burglary

The police blotter is supplied by the Galloway Township Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Information for the Galloway Township Police Blotter for the dates July 11-17, 2011 has been supplied by local law enforcement agencies. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

The Galloway Township Police Department responded to 944 calls for service. Of those calls, 109 were Emergency Medical Calls, 14 were Fire Calls, 12 were Domestic Violence Calls, and 28 were Motor Vehicle Accidents. There were also six reported burglaries, 27 total arrests were made, including two D.W.I. arrests, and 81 tickets were issued.

A vehicle was stolen on East White Horse Pike on July 17, and another was burglarized on South New York Road the day prior, on July 16. Residential burglaries were committed on July 12 on South Simms Avenue; on July 15 on Hilltop Drive and on East Cos Cob Drive on July 17.

* Pampered and Polish Nail Salon on West White Horse Pike was the victim of a commercial burglary on July 16.

* On July 17, Super Foodtown at 45 South New York Road was also the victim of a commercial burglary. In that incident, it was a 16-year-old Galloway boy who was discovered burglarizing the store. He tripped the alarm and was located, but initially was able to escape. The officers in charge of the investigation identified and captured him the following day. He was charged by Ptl. Kerry Baerman with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, escape from police custody, burglary, hindering apprehension , possession of burglary tools and theft. He was lodged in Harborfields Juvenile Facility.

* On July 15, a 16-year-old Galloway boy stole a Just 4 Wheels truck from the Quality Truck Center at 609 West White Horse Pike and drove it to Egg Harbor City, where he attempted a burglary. Once he was discovered, he fled in the truck, prompting a slow-speed pursuit, which ended in Galloway, where he was captured after becoming stuck off the roadway. He was charged by Ptl. Steven Garrison with theft of a vehicle, resisting arrest and eluding law enforcement. He was released on a summons and turned over to EHC for additional charges.

* Paul D. Kalodner, 40, of Egg Harbor Township, was arrested by Ptl. Scott Winneberger on July 11 for fraud and attempting to obtain prescription drugs by forgery. He was released on a summons.

* Diana Diaz, 22, of Egg Harbor, was arrested by Ptl. Ken Snuffer on July 12 for hindering apprehension. She was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on outstanding warrants.

* Frank P. Simpson, 31, of Northfield,  and Robert K. Robinson, 27, of Egg Harbor Township, were arrested by Cpl. Gregory Bollinger on July 12 for possession of CDS. They were released on summonses.

* Tamara Owens, 32, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Kevin Costa on July 12 for hindering apprehension. She was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on an outstanding warrant.

* Aaron E. Kleiner, 18, of Galloway, was arrested by Sgt. Donna Higbee on July 12 for possession of CDS and possession of CDS paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.

* Antione Robinson, 20, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Bryan Casey on July 13 for possession of CDS. He was released on a summons.

* Christopher S. Holub, 29, of Sparks, MD, was arrested by Ptl. John Mooney on July 13 for DWI following a two vehicle accident. He was released on a summons.

* Jesus Campos, 24, of Galloway, was arrested by Det. Ro Latoracca on July 14 following investigation into a burglary and theft, which occurred on December 12, 2010.

* George J. Kermidas, 48, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. John Mooney on July 14 for  obstructing the administration of law and for possession of hypodermic needles. He was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on outstanding warrants.

* Justine T. Tellez-Santiago, 20, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Matthew Worth on July 15 for DWI.  She was released on a summons.

* Tegan D. Vaughn, 21, of Hammonton, was arrested by Ptl. Robert Bauer on July 15 for possession of CDS. She was released on a summons.

* Kenneth D. Devuono, Jr., 27, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Kerry Baerman on July 16 for hindering apprehension. He was released on a summons.

* Antonio D. Williams, 28, of Atlantic City, was arrested by Cpl. Gerald Houck on July 16 for possession of CDS. He was released on a summons.
