Police Blotter Includes Multiple Arrests For Burglary Tools and CDS

The following arrest information was supplied by the Galloway Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Information for the Galloway Township Police Blotter for the dates Aug. 1-7, 2011 has been supplied by local law enforcement agencies. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

The Galloway Township Police Department responded to 1,022 calls for service. Of those calls, 87 were Emergency Medical Calls, 15 were Fire Calls, 10 were Domestic Violence Calls, and 16 were Motor Vehicle Accidents. There were also nine reported burglaries, 26 total arrests were made, including a D.W.I. arrest, and 119 tickets were issued.

Four commercial burglaries were reported during this time period: on Aug. 2 at the Blue Heron Pines Maintenance Building, 527 South Odessa Avenue; on Aug. 2 at the Hair Salon at 401 South Odessa Avenue; on Aug. 3 at the Medical Complex at 76 West Jimmie Leeds Road; and on Aug. 6 at the Cob Web Corner at 303 Waveland Aveue.

Residential burglaries were reported on East Ebony Tree Avenue on Aug. 6 and on South Willow Avenue on Aug. 7.

No vehicles were reported stolen, but vehicular burglaries were reported on Terry Land on Aug. 1 and two reports were filed on Aug. 6, both on West Overbrook Court.

* Madelyn Mercado, 29, of Egg Harbor Twp. was arrested by Ptl. John Mooney on Aug. 1 for hindering apprehension. She was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on an outstanding warrant.

* Kenneth P. Grzeszczak, 25, of Egg Harbor was arrested by Det. Sgt. Michael Goldberg on Aug. 1 for burglary and theft, following an investigation into an incident on Dec. 31, 2010. He was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility in default of $15,000 bail.

* Christine A. Carber, 22, of Linwood  was arrested for hindering apprehension and George W. Gallagher, Jr., 28, of Galloway was arrested for obstruction of the administration of law and resisting arrest by fleeing  by Ptl. Kevin Costa on Aug. 1. Gallagher was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $2,500 full bail, and Carber was released on a summons.

* Timothy C. Liberty, 19, of Egg Harbor Township, Joshua D. Scott, 20, of Somers Point, and Amanda D. Jackson, 23, of Little Egg Harbor were arrested by Ptl. Vincent Ceci on Aug. 2 for possession of burglary tools following investigation into a suspicious vehicle by Chief Patrick Moran. Scott and Jackson had an additional charge for possession of hypodermic needles and Scott was charged with a third offense, possession of CDS. They were released on summonses. Liberty was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility for 11 outstanding warrants.

* Michael R. Keele, 48, of Egg Harbor Township, was arrested by Det. Sgt. Michael Goldberg on Aug. 3 for multiple counts of burglary, theft and criminal mischief for four different burglaries to township businesses. He was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $25,000 full bail.

* Erik R. May, 27, of Bayville, was arrested by Ptl. Kevin Welsh on Aug. 5 for possession of CDS paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.

* Mathew Meneely, 22, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Ryba on Aug. 6 for possession of a hypodermic needle He was released on a summons.

* Dalene A. White, 48, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Bryan Casey on Aug. 7 for aggravated assault on an officer, resisting arrest  and obstructing the administration of law. She was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $5,000 full bail.

* Mark R. Stuenckel, 25, of Mercerville, was arrested by Ptl. Bryan Casey on Aug. 7 for DWI. He was released on a summons.

* A 15-year-old Galloway boy was charged by Ptl. Kevin Welsh on Aug. 1 with theft. He was released on a summons.

* A 15-year-old Galloway boy was charged by Ptl. Brian Tennant on Aug. 2 for burglary and criminal mischief. He was released on a summons.

* A 17-year-old Pleasantville boy was charged by Ptl. Kevin Costa on Aug. 4 with resisting arrest by fleeing  and eluding. He was released on a summons.

* A 17-year-old girl from Egg Harbor Township was charged by Ptl. Ryan Goehringer on Aug. 4 with possession of CDS. She was released on a summons.
