Police Blotter Includes Possession, Hindering Apprehension

A Galloway woman was charged with DWI, possession of CDS, receiving stolen property, forgery and obtaining prescription medicine by fraud.

The Galloway Township Police Department responded to 783 calls for service. Of those calls, 72 were emergency medical calls, 24 were fire calls, 15 were domestic violence calls and 17 were motor vehicle accidents. There were also six reported burglaries, 26 total arrests were made, including two DWI arrests, and 80 tickets were issued.

* Neil H. Amin, 21, of Absecon, was arrested by Ptl. Kevin Welsh on Feb. 10 for DWI. He was released on a summons.

* Kevin C. Dinitch, 24, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Bryan Casey on Feb. 11 for possession of CDS. He was released on a summons.

* Edgardo Luis Matos, 34, of Egg Harbor, was arrested by Ptl. Andrew Silipino on Feb. 12 for hindering apprehension. He was released on a summons.

* Doris M. Barkley, 27, of Browns Mills, was arrested by Ptl. Carolyn Buckley on Feb 13 for DWI. She was released on a summons.

* Lawrence J. Nixon, 25, of Brooklyn, NY was arrested by Ptl. Patrick Neal on Feb 13. for possession of CDS. He was released on a summons.

* Ricky Saunders, 37, of Galloway, was arrested for DWI by Ptl. Jason Kiamos on Feb. 16. He was released on a summons.

* Brenda L. Zawacki, 40, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Kerry Baerman on Feb. 17 for DWI, possession of CDS, receiving stolen property, forgery and obtaining prescription medicine by fraud. She was released on summonses.

* A 17-year-old Galloway boy was charged by Ptl. Jason Kiamos on Feb. 13 for possession of CDS and possession of CDS paraphernalia.
