Police Blotter Includes Possession of CDS, Burglaries on Moonraker Court

The Galloway Township Police Department responded to 840 calls for service. Of those calls, 73 were emergency medical calls, 16 were fire calls, 10 were domestic violence calls, and 17 were motor vehicle accidents. There were also four reported burglaries, 36 total arrests were made, including a DWI arrest, and 94 tickets were issued.

Residential burglaries were reported on Terry Lane on Aug. 10, and on Buck Drive, Aloe Street and Moonraker Court on Aug. 11.

Vehicles were reported stolen on Moonraker Court on Aug. 11 and 13, and on Chesapeake Drive on Aug. 13.

* Parth Patel, 19, of Egg Harbor Township, was arrested by Ptl. Ron Gorneau on Aug. 8 for possession of CDS. He was released on a summons.

* Amanda D. Jackson, 23, of Little Egg Harbor, was arrested by Ptl. William Kline on Aug. 9 for possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on a summons.

* Rhiannon V. Thompson, 18, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Hiram Melendez on Aug. 10 for possession of CDS. She was released on a summons.

* Christen M. Rhodes, 35, of Galloway, was arrested by Det. Ro Latoracca on Aug. 11 for possession of CDS with intent to distribute, distribution of a narcotic drug, and distribution of CDS within a school zone. She was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $25,000 full bail.

* Valarie Karnauk, 20, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Jason Kiamos on Aug. 11 for possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. She was released on a summons.

* John E. Thomas, 55, of Galloway, was charged by SLEO Ronald Stephensen on Aug. 11 for burglary, terroristic threats, and criminal mischief.  He was released on a summons.

* David S. Arkell, 24, of Tuckerton, was arrested by Ptl. Dan Weigle on Aug. 12 for possession of CDS and possession of hypodermic needles. He was released on a summons.

* Phillip Westcott, 38, of Somers Point, was arrested by Ptl. Ron Gorneau on Aug. 12 for DWI and driving while suspended. He was released on a summons.

* Taurean D. Ransome, 27, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Bryan Casey on Aug. 13 for possession of a weapon (metal knuckles) following a motor vehicle stop concerning maintenance of lamps.

* A 17-year-old Atlantic City boy was arrested by Ptl. Daniel Choe on Aug. 8 for possession of CDS and possession of CDS with intent to distribute. He was released on a summons.

* Three Galloway boys, two aged 15 and one aged 17, were charged by Ptl. Ron Gorneau on Aug. 8 with possession of CDS. They were released on summonses.

* A 13-year-old Galloway boy was charged by Ptl. Dan Weigle on Aug. 11 with being a disorderly person. He was released on a summons.
