Police Blotter Includes Possession of CDS, Simple Assault

Information for the Galloway Township Police Blotter for the dates Feb. 4-9 has been supplied by local law enforcement agencies. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

The Galloway Township Police Department responded to 340 calls for service. Of those calls, 32 were emergency medical calls, 10 were fire calls, seven were domestic violence calls, and six were motor vehicle accidents. Eight total arrests were made and 36 tickets were issued.

* Phillip J. Meneely, 25, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Bryan Casey on Feb. 4 for receiving stolen property, two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. Bail of $15,000 full was waived and he was released on his own recognizance.

* Athanasio Kozonas, 33, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Kevin Welsh on Feb. 5 for possession of CDS.  He was arrested again by Ptl. Jason Kiamos on Feb. 9 for possession of CDS and possession of a hypodermic needle and was released on a summons.

* Shiraz A. Chaudhry, 23, of Egg Harbor Township, and Jawad Y. Abro, 24, of Galloway, were arrested by Ptl. Ryan Goehringer on Feb. 5 for possession of CDS and possession of CDS with intent to distribute. They were both released on summonses.

* Nicole A. Diana, 28, of Little Egg Harbor, was arrested by Ptl. Gary Brenner on Feb. 6 for shoplifting from the Smithville CVS. She was released on a summons.

* Candis S. Dozier, 19, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Kerry Baerman on Feb. 8 for possession of CDS and possession of CDS paraphernalia. She was released on a summons.

* A 15-year-old Galloway boy was arrested by Ptl. William Kline on Feb. 9 for robbery and simple assault following an investigation into an incident on Jan.28. He was lodged in Harborfields.
