Police Blotter Littered with DWI Arrests

Information for the Galloway Township Police Blotter for the dates June 6-12, 2011 has been supplied by the Galloway Township Police Department. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

The Galloway Township Police Department responded to 672 calls for service. Of those calls, 72 were Emergency Medical Calls, 19 were Fire Calls, 17 were Domestic Violence Calls, and 14 were Motor Vehicle Accidents. There were also nine reported burglaries, 26 total arrests were made, including five DWI arrests, and 88 tickets were issued.

Commercial burglaries were reported on June 6 at the kiosk at the Shell gas station at 300 East White Horse Pike; on June 7 at Sun Things and More at3 North New York Road; and on June 9 at Marrone Lawn Sprinklers at 244 East Waveland Avenue.

Residential burglaries were reported on June 8 on South New York Road; on June 9 on South Eighth Avenue; and on June 12 on East Spring Mill Drive.

Vehicles were burglarized on East Cos Cob Drive, East Seaview Drive and West White Horse Pike, all on June 10.

* Crystal L. Hare, 26, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Dan Weigle on June 6 for DWI and possession of CDS. She was released on a summons.

* Kurt Kosowan, 53, of Egg Harbor City, was arrested by Ptl. Jason Kiamos on June 9 for DWI following a single car accident. He was released on a summons.

* Jonathan A. Lanterman, 23, of Absecon, was arrested by Ptl. Kevin Welsh on June 10 for possession of CDS and possession of CDS paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on an outstanding warrant with bail of $500.

* Eric D. Tillman, 22, of Ventnor, was arrested by Ptl. William Kline on June 11 for DWI, possession of CDS and possession of CDS paraphernalia. A passenger, Angela V. Dariano, 21, of Deptford, was arrested for possession of CDS and possession of CDS paraphernalia. They were released on summonses.

* Michael Benjamin, 35, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Kerry Baerman on June 11 for DWI and possession of CDS. He was released on a summons.

* David A. Young, 32, of Galloway was arrested by Ptl. Ryan Goehringer on June 11 for possession of CDS and possession of CDS paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.

* Candida S. Johnson, 27, of Cedar Hill, Texas, was arrested by Ptl. Vincent Ceci on June 12 for possession of CDS and failure to surrender CDS to a Law Enforcement Officer. She was released on a summons.

* Gabriel Perez, 21, of Pleasantville, was arrested by Ptl. Ryan Goehringer on June 12 for DWI.  He was released on a summons.
