Police Identify Pedestrian in Early Morning Crash in Galloway
Steven M. Pierson, 32, of Egg Harbor City, was killed early Wednesday morning when he was hit by a car while crossing Leipzig Avenue between Herschel and Leibig.
Police have identified the victim in an early morning crash in Galloway Township.
Steven M. Pierson, 32, of Egg Harbor City, was killed early Wednesday morning when he was hit by a car while crossing Leipzig Avenue between Herschel and Leibig.
He was hit by a 2004 Nissan Sentra being driven by 33-year-old Eric Seller, of Galloway, at 1:24 a.m.
The road was closed for three hours.
No charges have been filed and the accident remains under investigation by the Galloway Township Traffic Reconstruction Unit and the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
