Police Seek Suspect in Shore Points Pools Robbery

The burglary took place overnight on Tuesday.

Absecon Police are seeking a suspect who stole about $400 from Shore Points Pools on Route 30 this week.

The owner of the store alerted police when he arrived at the store Wednesday morning to find it had been burglarized overnight. Police determined the suspect broke in through the rear of the building and stole about $400 from the office and a cash register.

The male suspect is described as being between 5-foot-8 and 6 feet tall and about 180 pounds. His race is unclear, although he appears to be light skinned. He was wearing a thigh length light colored hooded coat and white sneakers, possibly “Puma” brand.

The investigation into this and several other recent commercial burglaries is continuing, and anyone with any information is asked to contact Detective Leigh Gadd, Jr. at the Absecon Police Department Detective Bureau at 609-641-0667 or CRIME STOPPERS at 609-652-1234 or 1-800-658-TIPS.
