Robber Attacks Man in ShopRite Parking Lot
The same suspect may have robbed a Dunkin Donuts earlier on Saturday.
A robbery victim was struck in the face without warning in the parking lot of the ShopRite on S. Pitney Road in Galloway Township at 10:12 p.m. Saturday.
A thin man wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt took the male victim's phone and cash and fled toward Eighth Avenue, according to Galloway Township Police.
The robber fits the general description of the man reported earlier in the day to have robbed the Dunkin' Donuts on Route 30 — saying he had a gun and brandishing a large black knife. No weapon was shown in this case.
