Marilyn A. Mazzella, 29, was also charged with resisting arrest and illegal possession of prescription narcotics, police said.
Police reported to the scene on Wednesday afternoon at 3:48 p.m. in response to the robbery. Mazzella allegedly shoplifted several items and left in a vehicle she had waiting north of the store, on Route 9, police said.
The officers found the car and Mazzella shortly after receiving the 9-1-1 call, and apprehended Mazzella after she allegedly resisted arrest. All stolen property was recovered and returned to the store, police said.
Mazzella was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility in default of $7,500 cash bail.
