Three Galloway Residents Arrested on Drugs, Weapons Charges
It was the second handgun arrest for Galloway Police in as many weeks.
Three Galloway residents were arrested Thursday morning, Sept. 27, on weapons and drug charges, Galloway Police said Thursday afternoon.
Craig Pendleton, 19, was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of hollow point bullets and a drug related offense. The weapon in question was a 9 milimeter semi-automatic handgun, police said.
The arrest was made following a warrant search on the 200 block of St. Joseph Street in the Pomona Oaks section of the township, police said. Galloway Police worked in conjunction with the Atlantic County SWAT team on this search.

He was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility in lieu of $55,000 cash bail.
David Whealton, 25, and Brian Pendleton, 48, were also arrested during this incident, police said. Both were charged with one drug charge and released on their own recognizance, police said.

It was the second handgun arrest in as many weeks for Galloway Police.
On Friday, Sept. 21, Anthony Canizzaro III was arrested by Galloway Police after reportedly threatening to shoot bail bond agents and himself, police said.
Police responded to the 9-1-1 call on West Morton Avenue. Police obtained a search warrant for the premises and recovered a .32 caliber handgun and a quantity of CDS, police said.
Canizzaro was charged with possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and possession of CDS (methamphetamine). He was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility in lieu of $55,000 cash bail.
