Ventnor Woman Charged With Murder of Millville Man

Tamasa Nobles has been charged in the stabbing death of Devon Devine.

A Ventnor woman has been charged with murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of a Millville man that took place Sunday night, Dec. 2 in Ventnor, acting Atlantic Couny Prosecutor James P. McClain said Monday morning.

Tamasa T. Nobles, 18, has been charged with murdering Devon Devine, 20, by stabbing him in the chest, McClain said. Her first appearance in court is scheduled for 1:30 Monday afternoon, McClain said.

Police responded to a 9-1-1 call regarding an unresponsive man who had allegedly been stabbed during an altercation around noon on Sunday, McClain said. Police discovered Devine suffering from a stab wound outside Nobles' home on the 300 block of Wissahickon Avenue, McClain said. He was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter, according to McClain.

Nobles was arrested at the scene, and subsequently charged with murder and weapons offenses, McClain said. She was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $1 million cash bail, McClain said.
