Woman Taken to AtlantiCare Regional After Being Hit by Bus

Marie Andre, of Pleasantville, had non-life threatening injuries.

A 50-year-old Pleasantville woman was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Monday afternoon after being hit by an Atlantic County Special Services bus while trying to cross Route 30.

Marie Andre, of Pleasantville, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. She was struck at 3:19 p.m. Monday while trying to cross Route 30 from Apple Road. She was trying to catch a New Jersey Transit bus heading east when she was struck by the county vehicle.

She was transported to AtlantiCare by the Galloway Township Ambulance Squad and AtlantiCare paramedics.

No summonses were issued, but the accident is still under investigation.
