Galloway Council Honors Spelling Bee Champion

The national event is next month in Washington, D.C.

student Ebose Eigbe is on his way to Washington D.C., where he will be competing in the National Spelling Bee, the weekend of May 25-27. He earned the right to compete at the event after winning the Regional Spelling Bee at on Saturday, March 10.

He won in 23 rounds. Prior to that, he won his school at Roland Rogers.

Galloway Mayor Don Purdy recognized him with a proclamation at the council meeting on Tuesday night, April 24. Check out the vide attached to the story for the presentation.
