Deadline for Rice Notice Public Hearing Request Pushed Back to Tuesday

The hearing for Township Clerk Lisa Tilton will begin Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the Municipal Complex.

A hearing for Galloway Township Clerk Lisa Tilton will take place at a special session of council Wednesday night at 5 p.m. at the municipal complex.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss personnel issues relating to the position of township clerk.

The announcement for the meeting states it will be held in executive session, and formal action may be taken.

Castellani had no comment on the hearing when contacted early Monday afternoon.

Galloway Township Solicitor Michael Blee didn't return a phone call seeking comment Monday afternoon.

At some point the Public has a right to know what happened between these Township officials. Hiding behind the Rice notice and closed door Executive sessions only perpetuates the rumors. Come clean, show some integrity, and focus on possitive issues that will help Galloway residents. This fiasco is making everybody look foolish!
