Longtime Atlantic City Piano Tuner May Lose Home to Eminent Domain: Report

The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority is looking to acquire properties for redevelopment, and one of those properties belongs to a longtime resident who has tuned pianos for national icons, My9NJ reports.

Charlie Birnbaum has tuned pianos for Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli and John Legend, according to the report.

He's lived in Atlantic City for 45 years and is challenging the CRDA's attempt to take his family home for redevelopment in the area surrounding the Revel, according to the report.
