Mayor Don Purdy told The Press of Atlantic City that a new substance abuse recovery facility on Jimmie Leeds Road concerns him because the township wasn't notified before its opening.

Galloway Mayor Don Purdy is concerned about the opening of at least one substance abuse recovery facility in Galloway Township, The Press of Atlantic City reports.

Two centers have recently opened in the township, on Adessa Avenue and on Jimmie Leeds Road. It is the opening of Addiction Treatment Services International that has Purdy concerned because the township wasn't notified prior to the opening, according to the report.
