The general elections are Nov. 8. All three seats are for four-year terms.

Last week, Galloway Township was redistricted into District 9, and as a result, polling locations will change with this year's primary. Those locations will be released by the township following the April 27 school board elections.

Monday was also the deadline to file for state and general assembly Legislature primaries. In District 9 at the state level, incumbent Sen. Christopher J. Connors, of Forked River, was the only Republican to file and will run against Democrat Dorothy A. Ryan, of Barnegat.

In the general assembly in District 9, incumbent Republicans Brian E. Rumpf, of Little Egg Harbor, and Dianne C. Grove, of Brant Beach, have filed.

On the Democratic side, Carla Kearney, of Toms River, and Bradley Billihmer, of Bayville, will run.
