Township Releases New Polling Locations

Recent redistricting measures will affect residents all across Galloway Township, and have led to a reshuffling of polling locations, to take effect beginning with the

The new census figures and an upswing in voter registration led to the township increasing its number of polling locations by three, up to 17 total. District boundary lines have also changed, meaning some residents may be in a different district than they have been for previous elections. This change will affect about 10,000 voters, according to a release issued late Thursday afternoon.

The new districting map will be available at the township's website, gallowaytwp-nj.gov; on display at the municipal complex in the township clerk's office; and the locations will be listed on GTV Channel 2.

The districts will also be labeled on all sample ballots, so the township is urging all voters to survey their ballots before they vote.
