Absegami Alum Earns Degree at Quinnipiac

Sarah Taggart earned her Master's in Occupational Therapy.

Dean’s List recipient and alum earned her college degree this week.

Taggart earned her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University during the school’s commencement on May 13, the school announced this week. Taggart earned Galloway Patch “Whiz Kid” status in February of 2011 after being named to Quinnipiac’s Dean’s List with a 3.7 grade point average (GPA). She recorded mostly A’s and A-‘s.

“Occupational therapists allow people to participate in occupations that are meaningful, and optimize independent functioning,” Taggart said at the time. “Occupational therapists help people overcome barriers (physical, mental, or environmental) with the utilization of various types of interventions.”
