Absegami Basketball Teams See Conference Games Added to Schedules
The boys will play Cedar Creek Feb. 19, while the girls play Bridgeton Feb. 20.
The boys' and girls' basketball teams will each play an additional Cape-Atlantic League game this season, after the conference released the pairings for its conference tournament and consolation games earlier this week.
The Absegami boys (9-10) will face Cedar Creek (13-9) at home on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 5:30 p.m. The Braves defeated Cedar Creek, 52-47, in a consolation game at the Boardwalk Classic in Wildwood in December.
Absegami begins play in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group IV playoffs the following Monday, Feb. 25, when it visits Toms River North.

The Absegami girls (6-9) will face Bridgeton (7-14) at home on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 4 p.m.
The Cape-Atlantic League holds an eight-team tournament to determine its conference champion. The champions of each of the conference's three divisions qualify for the tournament, as well as two wild-card teams.

Conference teams that don't qualify for the tournament are matched up with teams in the conference who have similar records.
