Enrollment in Free Military Child Tutoring Program Now Open
The program is run by Terry Dougherty, and takes place at Stockton College from July 7-Aug. 21.
Enrollment is now open for "They are Heroes Too!," a free military child tutoring program.
Applications can be downloaded at www.freemilitarytutoring.org.
The program, in its eighth year, is open to the children of active duty, National Guard and Reserves members. It focuses on tutoring children who have needs in reading, writing, and math.
The age groups are from first to eighth grade. The program is held at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
The program runs from Monday, July 7 through Thursday, Aug. 21. First come first serve basis. Applications need to be returned by June 1.
