MASTER GARDENERS EVENTS

All are invited to the Atlantic County Master Gardeners three free seasonal sessions scheduled in the upcoming months.

On WEDNESDAY EVENING, MAY 1st, from 6-7 PM, there will be an informal informational session at the Galloway Township Community Garden, located behind the Galloway Branch ofthe Atlantic County Library off Jimmie Leeds Road. Bring your gardening questions to be answered by Mona Bawgus, coordinator of the Master Gardeners, and her team.

On SATURDAY, JULY 21st, at 10 AM at the Galloway Branch of the Atlantic County Library, the program

“Garden Pests & Diseases” will be presented. Learn how to treat the pests and diseases that plague your garden without harming the environment.

“Fall Planting and Putting Your Garden to Bed” will take place on

WEDNESDAY EVENING, SEPTEMBER 19th, 7 PM at the Galloway Branch of the Atlantic

County Library. This discussion will be invaluable to those who want to plant a Fall crop and/or an early Spring crop in 2013.

All sessions are co-sponsored by Rutgers Cooperative Extension and Go Green Galloway ..

All are welcome; and we are strongly encouraging this year’s community garden participants to come out.
