Galloway Middle School Celebrates Girls' Soccer Team's Undefeated Season

The team went 11-0 and won the Atlantic Cape Junior League championship.

Galloway Township had much soccer success to celebrate Monday night, Nov. 19.

Mere hours after the Absegami High School boys' soccer team completed its most successful season ever with an appearance in the South Jersey Group IV final, the Galloway Township Middle School recognized its girls' soccer team for an undefeated season and conference championship.

The team went 11-0 this season and won the Atlantic Cape Junior League championship.

"I looked at the core values on the school district's website, and our team embodied them all," coach Jeff Morris said during the Board of Education meeting at the middle school. " ... They showed kindness, loyalty and dedication like no team I've ever coached before."

Morris said his team displayed respect, hard work, integrity, communication, excellence and diversity. The 20 players on the team represented six travel squads, Morris said.
