Galloway Middle, Smithville School Students Named to All South Jersey Band

Galloway Middle School had its highest number of students ever accepted to the band, while Smithville had its first two students ever named to the band.

Nine Galloway Township Middle School and Smithville Elementary School students were selected to participate in the All-South Jersey band performance on Sunday, March 3.

According to Galloway Township Middle School Band Director John Dondero, it's the highest number of students from the middle school to participate in the All-South Jersey band. According to Smithville School Band Director Patrick O'Keefe, the two students from that school are the first two to participate.

Christion Cassenti, on trumpet;

Anita Gosevska, on clarinet;

Emilie Karovic, on alto sax;

Sean Loeben, on french horn;

Adrian Padayhag, on mallets;

Prashit Praikh, on percussion, named the top drummer in the state;

Kaylyn Rhoad, on baritone sax;

Matt Sato, on clarinet; and

Tiffany Tran, on flute.

Smithville School is sending William Alavez on tuba and Sebastian Palmer, on baritone sax.
