Galloway Native Graduates from Centenary College

Jessica Fane graduated Jan. 14.

Galloway Township native Jessica Fane was part of the 137th graduating class from Centenary College on Saturday, Jan. 14 with a bachelor's degree. The keynote speaker for the class of 264 graduates was Rochelle Hendricks, acting secretary of higher education for the State of New Jersey.

Also, Washington College Chestertown, MD, announced its Dean's List for the fall of 2011, and there were two Galloway Township natives on the list. Freshmen Kelly Bird and Amber Washington were each recognized by the private, independent college of liberal arts and sciences. Each achieved a grade point average (GPA) of 3.4 or higher for the semester.

Finally, Matthew Mastromatteo, of Absecon was among the 522 students named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester at Mount St. Mary's University. Mastromatteo, a junior, achieved this honor by maintaining a 3.4 GPA.
