Galloway School Districts Closed Monday and Tuesday

The K-8 district and the high schools will be closed as Hurricane Sandy approaches.

The inevitability of a major storm striking Galloway Township brings with it the most enjoyable part for any student. Classes are canceled.

The Galloway Township School District will be closed on Monday, Oct. 29 and Tuesday, Oct. 30 as the township, and the entire state brace for Hurricane Sandy.


The school district announced the cancelation on its website, adding that if conditions change and the district is able to open, parents will be notified by phone call or email.

The Greater Egg Harbor Regional School District, which includes will also be closed on Monday and Tuesday.

While both the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and Atlantic Cape Community College acknowledge the coming storm, neither has canceled classes at this time.
