The Galloway Township Board of Education congratulated Rosemary Hollway for completing the classes and requirements laid out by the New Jersey School Boards Association to become a Certified Board Member on Tuesday night.
"You are one of the select few in the county," said Ernest Huggard, president of the board. "It's a time consuming process...Rose, thank you very, very much for your work."
Not all members of school boards in the state are certified and many of the school boards are not certified as boards either, according to Huggard. He said that Galloway's Board of Education is one of two certified boards in the county.
