This Week's List of Local Graduates and Honors Students

Three graduated from both Drexel and The College of New Jersey, and one graduated from Villanova.

Local students have recently graduated from Drexel University, Villanova University and The College of New Jersey, and three more earned Dean’s List honors at St. Joseph’s University, according to reports from the readmedia news service.

Drexel graduates included:

Galloway resident Mario Gioia, who graduated from the school’s college of Arts and Sciences with a Bachelor of Science;

Galloway resident Vanessa Lin, who graduated from the college’s School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering; and

Galloway resident Ralph Ricapito, who graduated from the school’s College of Nursing and Health Professions with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Justin Wan, from Absecon, graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts on Sunday, May 20.

Graduates from The College of New Jersey included:

Johnathan Eldis, of Absecon, who earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology Cum Laude;

Sunita Yadavalli, of Galloway, who earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies Cum Laude; and

Chelsey Combs, of Absecon, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Special Education.

The following students earned Dean’s List recognition at St. Joseph’s, where students must achieve a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or above, a B or greater in all their classes, and complete at least 15 credits to earn Dean's List status for a semester:

Alison Taggart, of Absecon, is majoring in Interdisciplinary Health Services;

Christopher Young, of Absecon, is majoring in English; and

Danielle Baumann, of Galloway, is majoring in Business Administration.
