Whiz Kid’s Keys to Awesomeness:

Kenny Smith’s mother, Brandy, instilled at least one important idea in her son’s head: If you start something, you have to finish it. True to that belief, Kenny has started a lot, and he’s remained committed to everything.

“He keeps me very busy,” Brandy Smith said. “He enjoys doing all these things. He’s a happy-go-lucky kid.”

She went on to say he has his homework done before he gets home from school most of the time, and on his most recent report card, his lowest grade was a B-plus. Kenny Smith is no stranger to acing his report card, however.

“If he puts in the effort, he gets straight A’s,” Brandy Smith said.

That goes for everything, and he’s good at everything he does. He plays Little League baseball, and plays on a traveling baseball team out of Hammonton. He also finds the time to read and play the occasional video game.

He has also donated to those less fortunate. He’s donated the things he’s won playing sports, along with his toys and his books to charity. Club Penguin is an online game in which players win coins, and he donated his coins to help build better schools.

He’s also donated his allowance to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
