Why go: Some of your favorite Smithville shops will be dropping prices for this sidewalk sale, which is one of 26 free weekend events in Smithville.
When/where: All day at the on Saturday and Sunday.
Why go: These will be the last two days to see this collection of pastel works from across the country at the Noyes Museum.
4. Stockton Women's Tennis Vs. Gwynedd-Mercy College
When/where: At the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey beginning at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1.
Why go: It's cheaper and closer than the U.S. Open. Plus, if you're affiliated with Stockton or anyone on the team, you might want to go out to support the Ospreys.
5. Happy Hour
When/where: From 3p.m. to close at .
Why go: Happy hour is extended on Fridays at The Dubliner, from 3 p.m. to close instead of 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. There are drink specials for domestic drafts and, you guessed it, Guiness and Jameson as well. Some appetizers are also half price.
