How Does It Feel to See Your Kids Back on the Field After You Fought So Hard?

The Galloway Township Middle School baseball and softball teams played their season opener that nearly wasn't on Thursday.

When sports at the Galloway Township Middle School were cut for budgetary reasons, there was one group of parents who refused to lose a season. The parents of the school's baseball and softball teams held numerous fundraisers and exceeded the needed amount to keep the two programs alive about a month before the deadline. Those teams took the field for the first time this season on Thursday.

This week we asked those parents: How Does It Feel to See Your Kids Back on the Field After You Fought So Hard? We'll add a new response to the same question each day this week.
