Report: Absegami Graduate Dismissed From Notre Dame Football Team
Rashad Kinlaw remains enrolled at the University, according to NBC Sports.
Absegami High School graduate Rashad Kinlaw has been dismissed from the University of Notre Dame’s football program, NBC Sports reports. Kinlaw, a sophomore at the University, participated in spring practice through Friday.
Coach Brian Kelly told NBC Sports Kinlaw “didn’t live up to the rules within the football program.”
Kinlaw didn’t play in 2013, but was expected to challenge for playing time at cornerback this season, according to the report. Kinlaw played cornerback and quarterback at Absegami High School.

His last significant playing time came in 2011, as an injury kept him on the sideline for much of his senior season in 2012.
He is still enrolled in the University, according to the report.
