Stacy Lewis, Mika Miyazato Continue Battle For Top Spot at ShopRite LPGA Classic

They are tied for first at 6-under par. Paula Creamer is in third after one day of action.

The two players tied for first place after one day of action in the ShopRite LPGA Classic are scheduled to tee off within 20 minutes of each other when the tournament resumes on the Bay Course at the Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club today, June 2.

Stacy Lewis and Mika Miyazato were tied at the end of the first round on Friday, June 1. Each player shot a 65 to finish 6-under par for the day. Paula Creamer was third with a 67 to finish 4-under par.

Creamer takes the course at 12:10 on the 10th tee, alongside Suzann Pettersen and Natalie Gulbis. Pettersen shot 74 to finish 3-over par on Friday, and Gulbis shot 75 to finish 4-over.

Lewis, Karrie Webb and Na Yeon Choi hit the greens at the first tee at 12:20. Choi is tied for 14th place with a 70, 1-under par. Webb is among a group tied for 36th witha 72, 1-over par. That group includes defending tournament champion Brittany Lincicome.

Finally, Miyazato will take the course alongside Tiffany Joh and Courtney Harter on the 10th tee at 12:40. Harter is 1-over with a 72 and Joh is 2-over with a 73.

World No. 1 Yani Tseng, Lincicome and Morgan Pressel hit the 10th tee at 12:20. After one round, Tseng is tied for 22nd place, shooting par-71.
