Absegami to Face Egg Harbor Township in Consolation Football Game
Consolation matchups were announced on Sunday.
Despite missing out on the playoffs, several high school football teams from southern New Jersey have one more contest to play next weekend.
Along with the NJSIAA football playoff brackets, five consolation games involving teams from the area will be played on Friday and Saturday. Matchups are as follows, according to nj.com:
Egg Harbor Township (2-6) at Absegami (3-5), Friday night, 7 p.m.
Buena (5-4) at Collingswood (6-2), Friday night, 7 p.m.
Ocean City (3-5) at Triton (2-6), Friday night, 7 p.m.
Maple Shade (2-7) at Haddon Township (2-6), Saturday, 1 p.m.
Cherry Hill East (0-8) at Winslow (1-8), Saturday, 1 p.m.
