Wrestling Tournament Delayed

The Region 8 tournament, in which Absegami wrestlers will be competing, begins Wednesday night rather than Tuesday due to inclement weather.

The Absegami High School wrestlers will have to wait one more day to step on the mat again.

The Region 8 Wrestling Tournament has been postponed due to the snowstorm that blanketed the area last night and early this morning.

The tournament, which is hosted by Egg Harbor Township, is pushed back to Wednesday night at 5:30 p.m.

District second-place and third-place finishers will wrestle on Wednesday night.

The district champions received first-round byes, and won't hit the mat until Friday night, as previously scheduled.
