The Richard Stockton College Campus State Police Department was established in 1971, and has seen seven Directors/Chiefs of Police. The current chief is Glenn Miller. The Stockton Police Department has been granted the ability to write traffic tickets by the Galloway Township Police Department, and the department has a cordial relationship with the community. The department offers courses on how to deal with sexual assault, as well as drugs and alcohol.
