Stations were set up outside the retention pond where "Mr. B's Backyard Classroom" is located. Students and guests had the opportunity to learn about local flora and fauna, could closely observe animals like tadpoles that were scooped from the pond, or discuss environmental issues, like soil conservation (shown).

I have to say those are the most beautiful photos of Historic Smithville's lights that I have seen...BRAVO!
